Blood On American Streets Is Waking Up Politicians

So many millions of Americans are beginning to see that the current course we are on cannot be continued. Many of us have decided that enough is enough as communities across the nation turn into crime-ridden wasteland. We do not want to bring up our family in urban areas that resemble conflict areas. We don’t want to travel through blood-stained city streets. Unfortunately, changing the political landscape won’t be enough to stem the flood of bloodshed. The truth is that societal degradation is steadily eroding our culture’s foundations, and fixing that is not so simple.

Numerous polls have revealed that one of the most contentious political issues in America right now is violent crime.

In fact, according to a recent Gallup poll, a staggering 72 percent of Americans are “dissatisfied with the nation’s measures to reduce or control crime.”

According to a Gallup survey conducted earlier this year, 72% of Americans were unsatisfied with the nation’s efforts to prevent or reduce crime. Voters prioritize crime as one of the most pressing topics going into the 2022 midterm elections, according to several polls, including one from Monmouth University issued last month.

According to ad tracker AdImpact, Republican campaigns and groups alone spent $39.8 million in September on 157 distinct commercials that dealt with crime. Democratic campaigns and groups spent $32.9 million on 119 different ads on the topic, largely in response to Republican assaults. This represents a huge increase over the amount of money these groups were spending on the topic in August.

This isn’t a made-up problem.

In fact, there is blood all over our streets, and some of our biggest cities are reporting eye-popping numbers for 2022.
