Hunter Biden’s close friend Kathy Chung provided him with what a former top general called a “treasure mine” of intelligence data, which was ultimately stolen from his infamous laptop. Chung served as Joe Biden’s executive secretary when he was vice president.
While Chung was working for former Senator Mark Udall (D-CO) in 2012, Hunter Biden encouraged her to work for his father in the vice president’s office due to their close relationship with the “mystery woman,” whose online profile pictures have been largely removed.
Hunter received hundreds of the vice president’s “Intelligence Briefings” while Chung was in his office. Although they contained open-source data, they offer special insights into the vice president’s agenda.
The hundreds of phone numbers that Chung gave to Hunter Biden, including those of senators, congressmen, and numerous celebrities, would be more useful to foreign intelligence services.
The unprotected laptop and mobile devices belonging to Hunter Biden included this extremely private information.
Those mentioned in Chung’s emails to Hunter Biden included Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Former President Bill Clinton. On a another occasion, Chung sent Hunter Biden an email with the contact information for the president’s cabinet secretaries.
Additionally, the vice presidential assistant sent Hunter Biden a list of 1,500 contacts, which included Chris Martin of Coldplay and actress Gwyneth Paltrow. She also gave the names of three Secret Service agents and Louis Freeh’s contact information.
Law enforcement officials recently questioned Chung about the national security breach involving secret materials discovered in Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware, home, including his garage, as well as his unlocked, private office at the Penn Biden Center. In January 2017, Chung had assisted with the office relocation of the vice president.
“The people who were boxing [up the vice presidential office] had no idea that there was anything in there that shouldn’t leave the White House,” a source told NBC News. “There was no decision made to take certain documents that should have been presidential records or classified.”
Chung presently works for Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin as the deputy director of protocol. All inquiries on Chung’s interview have been forwarded to the Department of Justice by the Pentagon’s press secretary, Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder.
General Michael Flynn responded to the revelation that Chung gave Hunter Biden the extremely secret information in a tweet from November 2020.
.@MZHemingway Ask who is Kathy Chung (EOP) and why in 2015 is she giving a “treasure trove” of intelligence (phone no’s) to Hunter & Redacted. Any foreign power would love to have this information!!! https://t.co/PCfjFXvfHQ

“Ask who is Kathy Chung (EOP) and why in 2015 is she giving a ‘treasure trove’ of intelligence (phone no’s) to Hunter & Redacted,” he tweeted. “Any foreign power would love to have this information!!!”
The vice president’s son notoriously secured his laptop with the password Hunter02. He once disclosed on video with a prostitute that he had lost a laptop, which was likely seized by the Russians.
“Hunter Biden claimed Russians stole another one of his laptops for blackmail while he was close to overdosing in a Las Vegas hotel room,” the Daily Mail reported.
“The alleged incident would mean Hunter lost a total of three computers – the first abandoned at a Delaware computer store and the second seized by federal agents – each likely to hold sensitive information on President Joe Biden and the embarrassing pictures, videos and communications of his son,” the report continued.
“The third laptop still appears to be missing – and was taken by Russian drug dealers after they partied with Hunter in Vegas, he told a prostitute in a conversation caught on camera,” the report added.
IT expert Chris Greany told the Daily Mail in a different report that it was ‘staggering’ the laptop had not been encrypted. He also called it a ‘national security nightmare.’
“It’s a data breach and dangerous to have this type of material floating around,” said Greany, a former police commander who had advised British Foreign Secretaries on laptop security.
“For someone prominent, there is not only a risk of great reputational damage but also a risk of blackmail should the material fall into the wrong hands,” he said.
In a report about the documents found at the Penn Biden Center, it was revealed that Hunter Biden was in talks to potentially get an office at the think tank. It is unclear if Hunter Biden visited the center, but it is certain from emails that he had met a number of times with former University of Pennsylvania President Amy Guttman, who is now the U.S. Ambassador to Germany.
The first visit appears to be in November 2011, when Guttman invited Hunter Biden to New York City for a breakfast. His former business associated Eric Schwerin had passed on the invitation to him.
On multiple occasions, Kathy Chung coordinated with Hunter Biden to schedule meetings with former University of Pennsylvania President Amy Gutmann.
“VP will be meeting with President Gutmann on Friday, Jan. 8, 11:00 am, at the Lake house in DE,” Chung wrote in an email to Hunter Bidenin January 2016. “VP hopes that you will be able to join him for this meeting. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!!”
Chung also invited Hunter Biden to a meeting with Gutmann in April 2016. He suggested in a follow-up message to his business partner Schwerin that he may need to reschedule a meeting with the prime minister of the Ivory Coast. Hunter added that “the Guttman mtg is a must attend for me per Dad.”
As recently covered here, Hunter Biden’s laptop contained an email tying him to the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington D.C.. The email shows that Hunter Biden was in the running to profit from the Penn Biden Center and its “Clinton Global Initiative” like operations.
On April 25, 2016, CAA agent Craig Gering emailed Hunter with “confidential notes from our meeting,” according to the Fox News report. Gering reveals that plans were discussed for the vice president after he left office.
“The Biden Institute of Foreign Relations at the University of Pennsylvania,” Gering’s email read. “Focus on foreign policy. In addition to the institute at U of Penn, the school has an existing office in DC that will be expanded to house a DC office for VP Biden (and Mike, Hunter and Steve?). Operates like The Clinton Global Initiative without the money raise.”
It is quite interesting that the Clinton Global Initiative was referenced in the email. The Penn Biden Center has raised tens of millions in “dark money” donations, much of it from Chinese sources. It raises the question if the Penn Biden Center was an operation to profit the Bidens or to entrap them.
The political timing of the Biden classified documents’ discovery now threatens a president who has defied the adverse polling headwinds and has vowed to run for re-election in 2024.
An inside job? Kathy Chung is one ‘mystery woman’ who might certainly know.
