Tulsi Gabbard, who recently announced her exit from the Democratic Party, will support rising MAGA star Kari Lake in her bid for governor of Arizona. On Tuesday, October 18 in Chandler, Arizona, Gabbard will attend an Arizona Young Republicans Engagement Forum, according to Lake’s campaign.
Blake Masters, a Republican senatorial candidate, and Abe Hamadeh, a lawyer running for Arizona attorney general, will also be present at the event. President Donald Trump has backed Lake, Masters, and Hamadeh.
Last week, Gabbard, who previously served as vice chairperson of the Democratic National Committee and ran for president in 2020, declared her departure from the party. She asserted that “an aristocratic clique of warmongers” now controlled it.
Kari Lake, she claimed, “is a leader that puts people first, is working for border security, energy independence, public safety, and other measures that truly make life better and more affordable for the American people.” She said the things in a string of tweets.
Gabbard has already shown up this week to support Don Bolduc, a Republican candidate for the New Hampshire Senate.
