Trump dominates Tuesday’s GOP primaries – Trump Knows

Former President Donald Trump secured more delegates Tuesday after dominating the Republican primary elections in Florida, Arizona, Ohio, Illinois, and Kansas.

Trump secured 125 delegates in Florida, 79 delegates in Ohio, 64 delegates in Illinois, 43 delegates in Arizona, and 39 delegates in Kansas on Tuesday, according to NBC News.

President Joe Biden, who became the presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party last week after surpassing the 1,968 delegates required by the Democratic National Committee, also easily won all of Tuesday’s Democratic primary contests.

Last week, Trump became the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee after surpassing the 1,215 delegate requirement needed to secure the Republican National Committee’s nomination. The former president is currently the only Republican candidate left in the GOP primary race after former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley announced the suspension of her campaign earlier this month following Trump’s dominant performance in the Super Tuesday primary contests.

A video posted by Right Side Broadcasting Network on X, formerly Twitter, shows the former president and his wife arriving at a polling location in Florida to participate in Tuesday’s GOP primary.

In addition to winning the five primary contests on Tuesday, Trump scored another major win as the candidate he endorsed in the crucial Senate race in Ohio cruised to victory. According to The Associated Press, Bernie Moreno, a Trump-endorsed Republican businessman, received 50.5% of Tuesday’s vote in Ohio’s Republican primary race, while State Sen. Matt Dolan only received 32.9% of the vote and Secretary of State Frank LaRose received 16.6% of the vote.

According to The Daily Caller, the Trump-endorsed Senate candidate will now face Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown in what is expected to be one of the most competitive Senate races in the 2024 election.
