The Department of Justice Hid Bribery Evidence from Hunter Biden Investigative Team Prior to ‘Plea Deal’

The mystery about whether the IRS investigative team saw the notorious FBI-redacted FD-1023 informant document alleging the Bidens participated in an international bribery ring appears to be solved.

Of course, they weren’t shown the document, an attorney for the IRS case agent who oversaw the Biden criminal tax investigation told Congress this week.

The Federalist’s Sean Davis provided the document signed by Dean Zerbe, an attorney who specializes in whistleblower representation, and dated June 19, 2023, which revealed the IRS team was denied the opportunity to investigate the lead, which has profound implications for U.S. national security.

“As Mr. X has testified, he was the IRS-CI Case Agent over the subject investigation at the time – and Mr. X has stated to me that he has never seen this FBI Form 1023 and that he does not recall ever hearing about this information being turned over in any meetings with the prosecution team in Delaware.”

“Further, Mr. X has informed me that this information could have been relevant to Mr. X’s investigation at the time of the subject as it related to a claim of $5 million being paid to the subject which directly ties to email correspondence reviewed between subject and a business partner of subject sent in May of 2014, which is believed to reverence the $5 million being paid to subject from company xxx.”

After reviewing the FD-1023 in a secure location on Capitol Hill, House Republicans claimed that the testimony from an FBI trusted source showed that President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden received $5 million each from Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky.

According to informed sources familiar with the ongoing investigation into the FBI’s handling of the FD-1023 confidential human source report, the Bidens have been accused of coercing a foreign national into paying them $10 million in bribes, the Federalist reported. The extent of the FBI’s investigation into these explosive allegations remains unclear, as sources suggest that the agency has been uncooperative and unresponsive.

It is also unclear how the statement from Mr. X comports with the obtained May 2014 emails in Hunter Biden’s laptop, but new evidence has surfaced strongly corroborating a Biden track record of coercion of foreigners for payments.

IRS supervisory special agent Gary Shapley, who announced his name publicly, gave testimony for hours behind closed doors and said the Department of Justice slow-walked the investigation and made his job difficult. Shapley has since been removed from that probe.

Shapley said in his testimony related to President Joe Biden that he saw a WhatsApp message sent by Hunter Biden to a Chinese businessman in 2017. It was a July 30th, 2017 WhatsApp message from Hunter Biden to Henry Zhao, where Hunter Biden wrote, “I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand and now means tonight.”

President Biden has repeatedly denied discussing any business deals with his son. A source familiar with the IRS probe said the tax investigation that Shapley was assigned to is the same one that led to the Hunter Biden plea deal. That entire IRS investigative team was dismissed prior to the 2020 election and the DOJ issued a “stand down” order on the Hunter Biden investigation, according to the whistleblower.

Hundreds of pages of testimony was just released by the Republican led House Ways and Means Committee from the IRS investigation into the President’s son Hunter Biden. The IRS investigation led to a plea deal for the president’s son for tax violations reportedly struck two days ago.
