(FOX NEWS) — The United States Supreme Court’s investigation into the leak of a draft decision that suggested the overturning of Roe v. Wade, the historic 1973 ruling that legalized abortion at the federal level, was unsuccessful in identifying the person who was responsible for the leak.
Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization was a key abortion lawsuit that would eventually lead to the overturning of Roe v. Wade. On May 2, 2022, Politico published a draft of the decision that would be made in this case. The unusual leak sparked demonstrations all around the country as well as at the residences of the justices, which continued for several months.
