Shock Video: Armed Suspect Robs NYC Jewelry Store for Second Time in Weeks

Police in New York City are looking for a man who is suspected of robbing multiple jewelry stores, including two hits against the same shop, according to reports.

The latest brazen theft unfolded at around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday in the Cobble Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn.

An employee at Melissa Joy Manning jewelry store thought she was buzzing in a female customer when a masked man in a track suit also slipped into the shop, Fox 5 reports.

“Hi! I’m back,” the suspect reportedly said. “I’m back again. I don’t know if you remember me?”

Surveillance footage shows the female accomplice watching the door as the suspect orders a worker to open a display case.

“Hurry the f**k up or I’ll kill you,” the suspect, who was reportedly wielding a knife, can be heard yelling.

He grabs merchandise and shoves it into his pockets before fleeing the scene.

Owner Melissa Joy Manning believes the thief first hit her shop in February and again last week, making off with around $250,000 in jewelry.

“To taunt us by saying, ‘Hi, I’m back,’ as if we should be happy to see him is terrifying,” Manning said.

“Mayor Adams was on recently telling everyone to add buzzed entries and multiple cameras we have done all that – were going to the next level of hiring a guard because we don’t feel safe.”

Multiple jewelry store owners in the region believe they were targeted by the same suspect.

An investigation is ongoing.
