After Tyre Nichols’s video came out, protesters tried to shut down a Memphis bridge (video screenshot)
(WASHINGTON EXAMINER): Protesters want to shut down both lanes of traffic on the Interstate 55 bridge in Memphis, Tennessee. This is in response to the release of video showing Tyre Nichols being violently beaten and arrested, which led to his hospitalization and death.
Priscilla Thompson of NBC News was there and said that the protesters walked along one side of the lanes and then jumped to the other side. Cars and trucks were stopped in a line, and protesters were walking around them and waving signs at them.
