in September, President Joe Biden stated in an interview that Covid is “over.” But after the White House did damage control for the nominal “commander-in-chief,” it turned out that time would come much later.
Many years later. Try again in May 2023. That’s when Biden predicts the SARS-CoV-2 virus will have become endemic (it already is) and will no longer pose a threat (95% plus have natural immunity and/or vaccinated immunity, according to the CDC Director months ago), and we Americans can presumably resume a form of “normal” life until the radical government concocts its next crisis.
The rationale for ending the crisis in May rather than immediately was covered by White House stenographers at the New York Times:
According to the White House, the Biden administration aims to end the coronavirus public health emergency in May, signaling that government authorities believe the pandemic has entered a new, less devastating phase.
The White House intends to keep the emergency in place for several months so that hospitals, health providers, and health officials can prepare for a host of changes when it ends. Millions of Americans received free Covid testing, treatments, and vaccines during the pandemic, and not all of that will remain free until the emergency is declared over.
An average of more than 500 Americans are still dying daily from Covid. But at the three-year mark, the coronavirus is no longer upending everyday life to the extent it once did, partly because much of the population has at least some protection against the virus from vaccinations and prior infections.
Nonetheless, the White House stated on Monday that the country need a smooth transition out of the public health emergency. The administration also stated that a separate proclamation of a national emergency will be allowed to expire in May.
The Biden administration extended the Covid ’emergency’ until at least April by requiring all non-citizen passengers to the United States to be “completely vaccinated” with the virus.
“On October 25, 2021, the President issued a proclamation, Advancing the Safe Resumption of Global Travel During the COVID-19 Pandemic,” the order read.
“The Proclamation rescinds previous proclamations for COVID-19 related travel restrictions and governs noncitizen nonimmigrants coming to the United States by air,” it continues.
The Emergency Amendment was based on the incorrect premise that mRNA injections greatly reduce SARS-CoV-2 viral infection and transmission.
“In accordance with 49 CFR part 1546, TSA issued this Emergency Amendment (EA) to implement the Proclamation, which canceled and superseded the EA 1546-20-01 series. These policies, in conjunction with the Presidential Proclamation and the CDC Order, are intended to “limit the risk that COVID-19, including variants of the virus that causes COVID-19, is introduced, transmitted, and spread into and throughout the United States, potentially overwhelming United States healthcare and public health resources, endangering the health and safety of the American people, and threatening the security of our civil aviation system,” according to the order.
The New York Supreme Court found in October that immunizations do not appreciably slow the spread of Covid-19, therefore declaring the state’s vaccine mandates irrelevant. The court ruled that New York’s public employees must be rehired and given back pay.
In its ruling, the court determined that “being vaccinated does not prevent an individual from contracting or transmitting COVID-19.” A judge in a lawsuit against the federal CMS Medicare vaccine mandate for health workers came to the same conclusion.
New scientific research shows that the vaccinated are more than twice as likely to be infected with Covid-19 than those who had a prior infection.
The American Public Health Association article revealed the false claim that mRNA shots would stop the spread of Covid-19 is even worse than misleading — it is the exact opposite.
“Six months after the index date, the incidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection was significantly higher in vaccine recipients (6.7%) than the previously infected (2.9%),” the researchers found.
The Washington Post recently drove another nail in the “pandemic of the unvaccinated” coffin with its analysis that the majority of Americans dying from Covid-19 were at one point “fully vaccinated.”
“For the first time, a majority of Americans dying from the coronavirus received at least the primary series of the vaccine,” the Post analysis stated.
As reported earlier, the Centers for Disease Control and Infection (CDC) tracks the seroprevalence of nucleocapsid antibodies, an indicator of natural immunity from prior infection, on its serohub.
The U.S. is now at over 99% seroprevalence for Covid-19, meaning that there was near-universal exposure to the virus, despite the vaccine mandates, mask mandates and lockdowns.
