Geraldo Rivera shared an unplanned video while aboard his boat, where he provided further details about his recent departure from ‘The Five’ on Fox News.
According to Geraldo, he was specifically released from his position on ‘The Five’ but not from the network as a whole. However, his exit from ‘The Five’ ultimately led him to resign from Fox News entirely.

In the accompanying video, he mentioned his intention to discuss the events leading to his firing on Fox & Friends. He emphasized that this might be his final appearance ever on Fox News.
“Off Jones Beach. Inland, see the tower. Very, very bumpy. Lumpy day. Lumpy day out in the north Atlantic Ocean,” he said. “So off Jones Beach heading for the World Trade Center. Making pretty good time. Anyway in the holiday rush hour traffic, I’ll probably go faster on the boat than you would trying the Long Island Expressway.”
“So, it doesn’t look like I’m gonna be on The Five,” he continued. “I mean, I’m not gonna be on The Five. I’ve been fired from The Five. And as a result of that, I quit Fox. So I’ll have more to say about that on Fox and Friends tomorrow morning. Thank you.”
Last week, Geraldo officially announced his departure from ‘The Five’ via Twitter.

Geraldo has been a fixture at Fox News for years since his days as an investigative journalist.
