The Tennessee nurse who infamously passed out on television minutes after receiving a Covid shot is speaking out more than two years after the viral incident.
The fainting nurse, Tiffany Dover, told NBC News this week she is now “ready to speak out” against years of online rumors claiming she died after fainting on television.
Failing to address the rumors by simply going public to show she was alive and well, Dover remained silent in accordance with orders she allegedly received from CHI Memorial Hospital Chattanooga where she worked.
She told NBC, “The hospital told [me] not to speak out – it would be irrecoverable damage is what I was told…CHI Memorial has repeatedly denied knowledge of any directive…”
Popular attorney Viva Frei suggested on Twitter, “The hospital lied,” when it claimed it never silenced Dover and highlighted her family told NBC she even signed an NDA forcing her to remain quiet.
Explaining why she finally decided to speak out, Dover told NBC’s Brandy Zadrozny, “I was in a dark place and I did not have it in me to do this, because I didn’t know if I could trust you. I don’t know why I trust you now, but I’m choosing to.”
The only social media post made by Dover after her fall came two months after the fainting incident when she posted pictures of herself on a snowboarding trip with friends along with a mysterious caption reading, “Meet me on the other side of paradise.”
That might not have been the best choice of words considering people thought she was dead or was faking her death at the time.

During her NBC interview, Dover admitted the vaccine likely played a role in her passing out, saying, “You can pass out from receiving a vaccine, but that’s OK because it can also save your life. So it’s worth it.”
She also acknowledged her allegedly hospital-mandated “silence” fueled the rumors of her demise online.
For example, the hospital released a video four days after Dover fainted responding to the rumors she had passed away.
Even NBC described the video as non-convincing, writing:
“Neither Tiffany, nor anyone else, ever speaks. The whole crew just shifts awkwardly for 21 seconds. They’re all wearing masks. Tiffany forgot her white coat at home, so they put her in someone else’s ill-fitting vest. She had her hair curled by a colleague that morning and parted it in the middle, instead of on the side as it was in the vaccine video. The lighting in this new video was much dimmer than it had been in the room with the news cameras. So Tiffany’s electric blue eyes? You could hardly see them.”
Dover said of the hospital’s response video, “It wasn’t a good look for us. It made people suspicious, because if I’m OK, why am I not just talking? Why are we standing there?”
At this point, Dover is no longer employed by CHI Memorial but hopes to return to her job as a nurse sometime in the future.
In the aftermath of the NBC interview, people online are still unsatisfied as many are claiming the Tiffany Dover appearing on the media outlet is not the same person who collapsed on camera.
What is more likely is Dover was injured by the dangerous mRNA jab and was forced to remain silent by her employer similar to what many speculate took place with the NFL’s Damar Hamlin after his famous on-field collapse.
