This week, the World Economic Forum meeting was held in Davos, Switzerland. The head of the FBI, the director of national intelligence, 11 members of Congress, and several other top government officials were there.
A press release says that the delegation also has Labor Secretary Martin Walsh, who is eleventh in line to be president, and Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry, who used to be a senator and secretary of state.
The U.S. delegation joined more than 2,700 other world leaders in the Swiss Alps for the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting. At this meeting, some of the most powerful people in the world talk about how to run the global system. At this year’s event, speakers and panelists will talk about things like fears of a recession, the war in Ukraine, and climate change.
In contrast to his predecessor, former President Donald Trump, President Joe Biden will not be at the meeting.
