Artist of Jamie Lee Curtis ‘Pedo’ Pic Shows MORE Nude Child Content in Art Gallery

Betsy Schneider is the photographer who took the frightening photo of a young naked female child in a tub that was posted on the wall of actress Jamie Lee Curtis. The photo was displayed on the wall of actress Jamie Lee Curtis.

Speaking to ArtNews.com, Schneider explained the photo, titled, “The Tub,” from 2003, merely depicts what Scandinavian kids do in Norway.

In an email to ARTnews, Schneider said of The Tub, “My kid’s dad is Norwegian, and that year we had just that year moved to Arizona from Norway. It’s what Scandinavian kids do when they are hot, they take off their clothes. Filling a plastic tub full of water, that’s what Arizona kids do when they don’t have a pool.”

Schneider said she drew inspiration from Sally Mann, whose photographs about childhood and children have garnered accolades and, periodically, some controversy. Schneider worked for Mann for a year. “With Sally I learned how to work hard and how to make art out of life and love and how to integrate work and life and art,” Schneider said. “And really most of all how being an artist meant working hard and passionately.”

However, as a result of the issue, Schneider’s body of work has come under more scrutiny, and many people have interpreted additional photographs in the same show, titled “Sweet is the Swamp,” as being pedophilic or as being on the verge of child pornography.

One carefully cropped photo, titled, “Tootsie Roll Pop,” shows a naked boy who appears to have a black eye holding a lollipop.

A second photograph depicts an unclothed child who has artwork made all over their body using a marker.

Another one of the pictures shows a small youngster who is naked bending down in front of a large pool of water to play with it.

In another picture titled “Pit Stop,” a child’s buttocks are shown while the child’s pants are pulled down, giving the impression that the child is urinating.

In one of the other pictures in the exhibition, a little child can be seen wearing only his underwear and a peculiar mask made of aluminum foil.

In another picture, a boy is shown being restrained by a yellow strap that is attached to a fence post.

In spite of the fact that a few of the pictures seem to depict upsetting scenes, the majority of them show children engaging in seemingly harmless activities such as eating ice cream, swimming, or drying off with towels.

Revelations of the artist’s identity come as Curtis landed in hot water earlier this week after social media users took notice of the bizarre photo displayed in her office, with many claiming the creepy wall art gave off strong pedophilic Epstein, or Podesta vibes.

A day later, Curtis withdrew the picture from Instagram, apologizing to those he had offended and providing an explanation for the artwork, which he described as “a photograph on the wall that was handed to me 20 years ago.”

“It’s a picture of a child that was taken by the child’s mother of the child as she was playing in a tub of water in their garden. Curtis made an attempt to clarify by saying, “Nothing more, nothing less.”

For many people, the argument did not hold water because it is still incredibly unsettling and odd for a photo of a naked child to be posted anywhere, let alone in a professional office context. However, the photo was presented in a professional office setting.

The controversy arrives on the heels of a disturbing news item concerning a gay couple in Atlanta who raped their adopted sons and solicited them for prostitution using lewd photos disseminated via social media.

Ms. Schneider did not immediately return Infowars’ request for comment.

Was the issue surrounding Jamie Lee Curtis nothing more than a simple case of miscommunication, or are the pedophilic overtones in the so-called art a knowing wink and a gesture to people like Harvey Epstein?
